Ron Jaworski Keynote Speaker at NCGOA 2017

GE Updated

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current golf course owner Ron Jaworski will keynote the opening session of the NGCOA's 2017 Golf Business Conference in Orlando

Ron Jaworski didn't get his popular nickname "Jaws" from the Steven Spielberg thriller that swept the country in 1975. No, the affectionate honor was instead bestowed upon him by nextdoor neighbor and star Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Doug Collins. "It was because my lips were always flapping," Jaworski once recalled in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Jaworski will be on display in February for golf course owners and operators, as the former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst will keynote the opening session of the NGCOA's Golf Business Conference on February 7, 2017.

Established in 1979 and headquartered in Charleston, S.C., the National Golf Course Owners Association is the leading authority on the business of golf course ownership and management. The Association represents the industry’s key decision makers with ultimate responsibility for golf courses throughout the world.  The not-for-profit organization is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to golf course owners and operators.

Owners and operators of golf courses throughout the U.S. and the world look to the National Golf Course Owners Association as a valuable source for information and education, and an advocate for their best interests.
